There"s a new McLaren production model on the way, likely to be a 570LT, and it will be revealed in full online on 28 June before making its public debut at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The teaser images and video released so far strongly suggest it"s likely to be a new member of the 570 line-up, slotting above the coupe, convertible and slightly more practical GT variants.

The latest image again teases the rear of the new car but, importantly, it shows the location of the exhaust outlets. This has previously been the preserve of McLaren"s halo and Long Tail models, thus suggesting this new model could well be a 570LT.
The teaser video confirms petrol power and the firm’s trademark 3.8-litre V8 turbo unit. Minor aerodynamic revisions intended to increase downforce will cement the 570LT’s position as a track-biased Sports Series entry, evident from the original teaser image – which clearly shows that the rear diffuser on this new model is larger than the one fitted to 570S.
While the 675LT boasted serious design and performance revisions compared to the 650S, the changes the 570LT will receive compared to the 570S will be milder, considering the car’s Sports Series status. However, it will be lighter than the standard 570S model, while power should climb too, to around 600bhp. The new exhaust system will turn the volume up even more.
We will see the new McLaren on the move at Goodwood, with the brand confirming it will sprint up the famous Hill Climb for the first time on Thursday 12 July. No prices have yet been announced, but a sum approaching £200,000 seems likely.
